Yantai Shougang Td Automotive Compressor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: the company) is located at No.20, Zhujiang Road, Yantai Economic & Technological Development Area. It is a joint venture enterprise jointly founded by Toyota Industries (contribution rate 50.1%), Denso (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (contribution rate 20%), Yantai Dongxing Group Co., Ltd. (contribution rate 17.94%) and Shougang Group Co., Ltd. (contribution rate 11.96%). Registered capital of the company is 3,676 million yen. At present, the company has more than 900 staffs.

The company got Refrigeration Equipment Production License in August 2013 and passed ISO/IATF16949 Quality System Certification and ISO14001/OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Environment Management System Certification in succession in September 2013. Leading products of the company are compressors with fixed and variable displacement for air conditioner in engineering machinery and passenger vehicles. Technology platform of the products is the core technology of Toyota Industries that is the powerful chief in vehicle air conditioner compressor industry of the world. It is at international top level.

At present, compressors of the company are supplied to more than 20 types of passenger vehicle of Toyota, Volkswagen, Honda, Benz, Mitsubishi etc. In addition, the products are exported to Japan and Taiwan, China. The sales volume of compressors for passenger vehicles accounts for about 12% out of domestic market share of compressors for passenger vehicles. At the same time, the compressors are supplied to terminal clients of engineering machinery including Caterpillar, Komatsu etc. on mainland. The total sales revenue was near 1,700 million yuan in 2018.
